Save $$$$$$ and decrease your carbon footprint! November 3rd—Guest Speaker “Municipal Solid Waste” AMC Tiered Room 6:30pm What IS a landfill?!Where does your trash go?Why is recycling so important? Get the scoop straight from the Coastal Environmental Partnership (CRSWMA) at the Tuscarora Landfill. December 5th—Workshop “Green Gifts” 9:00am-12:00pm* Attendees will learn the techniques required to create gifts out of recycled materials. Possible activities include: Making reusable shopping bags, lip balm, soap, and reusable produce bags. January Date TBA- Green Fair with Keynote Speaker Meet and greet with local environmental conscious companies and organizations. Keynote address from prominent scientist on global climate change research. February 18th—Film “Flow” AMC Tiered Room 7:00pm Irena Salina's award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century - The World Water Crisis.
